1. Our Commitment
Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law (ACL). You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure, and to compensation for any reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. If a product is faulty, does not work, or significantly differs from its description, you are entitled to a full refund or replacement.
Shipping & Delivery
2. Where We Ship
We ship to addresses within Australia only. We do not ship internationally.
3. Free Express Shipping
All orders from our shop are shipped via Australia Post Express (or an equivalent express courier service we may engage from time to time) at no cost to you. There are no shipping fees on any shop order, regardless of order value or destination within Australia.
Tracking details are emailed to you once your order has been dispatched.
4. Delivery Timeframes
Orders are typically processed and dispatched within 1–3 business days of payment confirmation. Estimated delivery timeframes from dispatch are:
• Metro areas: 1–3 business days
• Regional areas: 3–5 business days
• Remote areas: 5–10 business days
Please note that delivery times are estimates only. Delivery may be affected by carrier delays, weather, public holidays, or other factors outside our control. We will not be held liable for any loss or damage suffered as a result of any delay in delivery.
5. Delayed or Unfulfillable Orders
If your order cannot be fulfilled or delivered within the estimated timeframe, we will contact you by email as soon as we are aware of the delay. You may choose to:
• wait for the delayed delivery;
• substitute an alternative product (if available); or
• cancel your order for a full refund.
If we do not hear from you within 2 business days of notifying you of a delay, you are deemed to have accepted the delay.
6. Lost or Damaged in Transit
If your order has not arrived within the expected timeframe or arrives damaged, please contact us within 14 days of dispatch (or the expected delivery date) so we can investigate with the carrier. Replacements or refunds are issued in accordance with the Australian Consumer Law and the carrier's outcome.
Risk of damage to or loss of the goods passes to you upon delivery. We will not be held liable for delays caused by the carrier, incorrect address details provided by you, or failure to accept delivery.
Returns & Refunds
7. Change of Mind Returns
We accept change of mind returns
on shop products subject to the following conditions:
• The return must be requested within 14 days of receiving your order.
• The product and packaging must be in new, unused, and resaleable condition.
• If a product is missing, the box is damaged, or the item is not in resaleable condition, we cannot provide a refund.
• Return shipping is at the customer's cost.
• Refunds can only be issued to the original payment method used to place the order.
• We cannot process exchanges for other products.
8. Non-Refundable Items
Digital products and downloadable content are not eligible for change of mind refunds. Your statutory rights under the Australian Consumer Law for faulty or misdescribed
digital goods are not affected.
9. Returns Process
To initiate a return, please email us at hello@thegiveawaycollective.com.au with the following details:
• Full name
• Delivery address
• Email address
• Order number
• Reason for return
Once your return request is approved, ship the item back to the address provided. Return shipping costs are at your expense.
Once received and inspected, a refund of the product price (less any applicable restocking fee) will be processed to your original payment method within 14 days.
10. Faulty or Incorrect Items
If you receive an item that is faulty, damaged in transit, or different from what you ordered, please contact us within 7 days of delivery with photos and your order number. We will arrange a replacement, repair, or refund in accordance with the Australian Consumer Law at no cost to you.
